I originally gave this talk, ‘How to Get Found Locally For Less’, at a 4N Online Notts and Derby networking meeting in April 2020. (I help to run the sister 4N Leicester meeting – we meet every Thursday at 2 pm, so if you fancy coming, please let me know.)

Each 4N meeting features a speaker, who gives an 18-20 minute presentation about an aspect of their work that is informative, educational, but not a sales pitch.

This talk covers two areas. The first is a potted history of how I helped a start-up garden design business publicise and market itself with very little budget. I talk about how writing a business blog helped the company to reach No.1 in Google for a specific keyword, which led to them building a reputation as specialists in that particular area.

The second part of the talk contains helpful tips for improving the reach of any business’s content marketing. By re-working your content and exploring channels you may not have heard about, you can amplify the effectiveness and reach of your marketing without spending a penny.

When your marketing budget is small, or even non-existent, there is plenty you can do to get found locally for less

There is a summary PDF of the second part of the talk available – if you’d like a copy drop me a message.

Here we go then, I hope you enjoy it! If you do, please leave a comment below.
